Dr Stephen Mace has always believed that dental care should be simple, honest and focused on what people actually need - especially when they’re in pain.
Originally from the UK, Stephen has worked as a dentist for over 20 years, including 18 years in Australia. He’s owned and run multiple general practices, but found his real passion in emergency dental care - where the goal is clear: fix the problem and help someone feel better fast.
Stephen brings deep experience in restorative and surgical work, a Master’s degree in aesthetic dentistry, and a calm, practical approach that puts anxious patients at ease.
He knows what it’s like to be stuck in pain with no help in sight - and he built Dental SOS to be the place that’s always open, always honest, and always ready to help.

What are your opening hours?
We’re open every night of the year from 6pm to midnight - including weekends and public holidays.
Do I need to call to make a booking?
Nope, just book online. It’s quicker, easier, and confirms your spot straight away. We don’t take walk-ins or phone bookings.
How much does it cost?
It’s a flat $199 for most treatments, plus a $50 booking fee (which comes off the total). Public holidays cost a little more - we’ll let you know upfront.
What if I’m nervous about dental work?
That’s totally normal. You’ll be looked after by a highly experienced, patient dentist who takes the time to talk you through it and keep things as comfortable as possible.
Will you be my regular dentist?
No. Dental SOS is for one-off emergency treatment only. We’ll fix the issue and provide a summary for your usual dentist if needed.
